You found the camera little expensive and decided to buy only when it comes down to 20000–22000 rupees only. You added it to your wishlist on Amazon .But how will you get to know that the price of the camera come to your buy range ?
The discount is showing 27 %. How do you know what was the price of the camera last month, last week, last year ? did the price of the camera ever fluctuate ?
what is the lowest price of the camera ever ? what is the highest price of the camera ever ? is the current price a better price to buy compared to its past prices ?
Yes I am talking about use of price tracking extensions on your browser(Mozilla or Chrome ),It gives better shopping experience.
It shows the historical data of the price of the product. The extension work flawlessly within your browser and you do not need to open any other web page to see the historical prices of the product you are going to buy.You can set price alert on the product page itself . you can decide how cheap the product can be expected to . you can save few rupees by using these extensions. The price of the product always fluctuate according to the demand. so It is very much useful to use a price comparison tool.
Download the extensions :
Check out
"Keepa - Amazon Price Tracker":
Keepa - Amazon Price Tracker for Google Chrome
Keepa.com - Amazon Price Tracker for Mozilla Firefox
- First download the extension then go to the camera product page on Amazon.
- Link : Amazon.in: Electronics
- You will find a graph as shown in the fig below.
It is a weekly price chart ,you see the camera was available Rs. 24,490 on 24 May 2016. but currently it is at deal price of Rs.26990.
Now looking at 6 month price chart . We found the camera price was Rs. 22490 in Feb 2016. You see the price is constantly fluctuating ,so it would be really better to wait for few more days to get you camera in less than the current quoted market price.
The stat of the camera :
You can set getting the price drop alert in Facebbok,Twitter,RSS feed or in the brower notification itself.
